HouseHop Helps Furry Friends

Househop, our Family of Companies ‘iBuyer’ division, knows that every home has a story—and sometimes, that story includes a few unexpected guests. 

This past May, the Househop team purchased a home in Eastpointe where they quickly discovered they’d inherited more than just square footage. Nestled inside were three feline mamas—two of them expecting—and a tiny kitten, all in need of care, compassion, and a safe place to land. Rather than turning a blind eye, our Househop crew stepped in with open hearts and helping hands.

Two of the mama cats were relocated to a local no-kill animal shelter, where they received the care they needed and are now waiting for their forever homes. One mama was welcomed into a loving foster home, where she can safely care for her kittens in a warm, nurturing environment.

And the little kitten? He found his happy ending—and a brand-new life—after being adopted by a family in Toronto!

These small acts of kindness remind us that the work we do extends far beyond bricks and mortar. Sometimes, making a difference means helping everyone under the roof—including the tiniest paws.
